dyno itself won't tune a car. it measures hp/tq. i think what you're trying to say is dyno tuning?

e-Racing :: OFFICIAL SITE :: The e-RAM Electric Supercharger from e-Racing Motorsports

I came across this site. I also did a little searching about this subject. A lot of forums just like ours bashing it without any real proof, but on the other hand good reviews from the "Two Guys Garage". The theory they put out makes sense. I even came across a U-Tube Video of some guy who used a leaf blower on his intake system and actually increased HP by 20 HP. They come with a single or a dual stage setup, and looking at HP per cost, the HP increase is actually cheaper then what you pay for HP from a CAI system. They say on averager 5% to 8% HP gains, at the very least, as much HP gains as a CAI for about the same price as a Injen CAI system.

If you want to bash it/me fine. If you want to research the product, even better. I'm just putting this out there for discussion and to see if someone can come-up with some better information and pro's & con's.

yes thats what i was going for, and does it matter if u dyno tune the car if u had any upgrades to it before or after like lets say i get the dyno tune first that wont do anything right, but if i get header cai exhaust port the throttle body n stage 2 clutch, would the dyno tune have effect then?

The problem is i have never seen or heard anyone use one of those chips and there is tons of racers around here in stl, and i have not seen it online either even when i had a different car n stuff, i might go to a shop and ask them what they think about it

ITS POSSIBLE DAMNIT!!! Just expensive as hell... and from another project i was following on a site until they stopped developing it... they could get 3 passes before having to recharge the batteries...so possible just why would you spend couple grand or more for 3 passes when you can get nitrous for cheaper and lasts longer and makes more power... possible yes

thomas knight : turbo upgrades + superchargers
Now that's funny as Hell. Isn't it nice when people bring up good memories form the past LOL.

As crazy as it sounds, I'm half tempted to try it... $300 or $600... three bills I might not miss, but 6 bills would hurt.

Your first post is what I expected to see here this time also. All the forums I linked to had the same reception of the product without any real disproof, just badgering. However, I did see some good news on this product at a couple links. More pondering required on my part !!

I mean even a tuner package $$$$ only gives between 10 to 20 HP on a NA setup depending on mods, and plus throwing in a proper tune $$$. However, it is requirement for a turbo or supercharger setup to work properly, so there is no way around it for that type of operation.

Nitrous, is an option; however, we had some members... well we'll just say they're in-progress rebuilding their motors to beef the inners up to handle the extra power.

I cracked one open once. It contained a $0.10 resistor that you were supposed to put on one of the sensors. In this case I recall it was the MAF but some of the other units have you put it on the IAT or CLT sensors.
