I'm going to be getting a Magnaflow muffler, and they have 2 finishes. Polished and Satin. Is the polished worth the extra money? Will it last during the harsh winters with all the salt on the road and through the stormy summers or will the polished finished go dull quickly?

honestly i didnt care if mine wasnt polished cause its under the car

I got polished, looks good with the polished tip and was cheap enough to why not. Our cars actually show the muffler quite a bit from a distance side or back view so I like the extra detail it gives.

Get polished, had mine for over 3 years and as long as you polish it every 6 months it will always stay shinny as hell.
