burned out o2
Just wondering if a burned out o2 sensor (bank 1 sensor 1) would hurt me at the track

It shouldn't hurt your performance a whole lot. The only thing I know of that it WILL affect is your emissions and fuel mileage.

If it's sputtering and misfiring you need to check more than just an O2 sensor. You may have other problems.
Check your spark plugs... You may have fouled them out with the hefty shots of nitrous + fuel and no tune... |

seems like it wouldn't be good....the ECU is expecting to see a certain reading, and if it doesn't who knows what it will "think" is wrong and try to do.....I would certainly fix it before I spent $ at the track - but that is me. my 200 yen.

Well the misfiring could b cuz of the sensor. Every code i get has to do with bank 1 sensor 1

If you have a misfire, yes, get it fixed ASAP!! This will be your rear header, first sensor. A Bosch replacement will run about $75, and an OEM replacement will run about $135.
You can have an underlying problem/s other then just your O2 Sensor, like an exhaust leak. But any who, your O2 Sensors reads your exhaust gases, in-turn sends that information to your ECU. The ECU determines if the exhaust gases are to lean or rich, and there-by adjust the fuel to that bank. If the the ECU adjust the fuel to be rich, then you can foul-out your plugs, but if the ECU leans-out the fuel mixture, then it can burn your valve seats.
