i have a GS auto and the trans needs to go i need stick. i would get a junk yard trans and rebuild it. but wat cars will have Manuel trans that will bolt up to. would any lancers trans line up right.

Search the forum a bit...Its been asked before. I've even thought about it. Would take alot of work but would be worth it if thats what you wanted.

i feel you man.. i absolutely hate having this automatic..... if it weren't four speed and sluggish as hell, i wouldn't mind it so much.

Are the 3.8 transmissions and 2.4's different? Having a hard time finding them in search.

Find a car that uses the 4g69 block, hence the lancer. Those bellhousings should bolt right up and match the input shaft since they're basically the same. You'll have to get a new computer too since your Ecu is programmed for automatic and you're going to manual.

so any car with the 4g69 motor the trans will bolt right up. and i know i gonna need a new ecu. but will a programable ecu work. cause i want to change the head to the 4g63 head, than get a tubro and injectors. so i know to get the car to run right with those mods ill need a programble ecu

Just had well get a 4G63 ECU because your ECU is not programmable.

That or stand alone...
