Plugging air intake resonator
I installed an Injen SRI, and i read somewhere on here in one of the threads but i couldnt find it again. I had read that you should plug the resonator hole in the engine cover since the SRI doesnt have a tube to it. I drove it for a day, then plugged it, but i feel like it lost power if possible. Or i could just be over thinking it. So please settle my nerves, plug it or leave it open?

Yep! The instructions called that tube going to it the "Resonator tube" so thats why i called it that haha. But ya, the black plastic cover that had the hole and the stock air tube split off to it. Plugged it

When I put my CAI onto my GT, I pulled out a bunch of crap of the stock resonator....leaves and twigs and such...I still have no idea how that stuff got in there...
