HOMESLICE has a spectacular aura about
TB Bypass

So I was looking into this and I'm trying to understand exactly what is done and any results found in it. I've heard its minimal but of course everything counts for something.

so you take new hoses and clamps and reroute something and it makes it cooler air to pass through? Does this do the same thing or at least work with the thermo spacers from outlaw? is it an easy mod that would be suggested when looking at upgrading to bigger throttle body and thermo spacers? thanks in advance!

The intake manifold and TB spacers are designed to prevent heat-transfer from the block to the intake manifold, to the TB, to the CAI. The colder the air, the better combustion in the chamber. So whether you install the spacers or not, the heater hoses to the TB heat the TB, so if you have the spacers to reduce heat, then you should re-route the heater hoses to prevent the TB from heating up. Even without the spacers, the TB By-pass will help by preventing the TB from being a source of heat to the intake system.

Its real easy and ive noticed no negative effects even below freezing... All you really need is a 2 ended barb and 2 hose clamps... Also I plugged the holes on my tb with vaccum caps so it doesnt get dirty if I ever want to reconnect it

Is it okay if you can tell my step by step how to do it? After I disconnect the two hoses and plug the holes on the tb where do I connect the hoses I took off? To each other? Thanks in advance

its nice after driving in 95 degree heat, get home, pop the hood, and are able to put your hand on the tb after the bypass.HUGE difference

I cant touch my TB after I drive... too hot. I have heat waves that bellow from my hood when I idle lol I cant contain it. Granted I havent done the bypass I hope it makes a little difference.

Hey one more question lol anyone know where I can buy throttle body spacer? I looked on outlaw engineering.com but didn't seem to have it the 07 gs. So is there another website I can purchase the tb spacer? Thanks in advance.

MACH1219 is an unknown quantity at this point
On my eclipse, I did not need to use barbed splice. Just remove one hose completely and recoonect the second hose to wher eu removed the other one. The stock hose length was plenty long enough to make a clean job with no kinks, and now there are 2 less potential leak areas and less extra hose under the hood
