air intake question 2006 gt vs 2009 spyder gt
I currently have a Fujita F5 CAI on my 2006 GT. It's looking like I'm about to buy 2009 Spyder GT as my current car is need of work and has high mileage. So now here's my issue. When I put the CAI, dumb ass me, threw out the OEM intake. Don't ask me why....apparently I wasn't thinking.
So now here's my issue, does the stock intake from a 2009 Spyder GT fit into a 2006 GT coupe? BTW, both are manual transmissions. The dealer that I found that 2009 is willing to let me swap them but I just want to be sure that it will fit. Cause that would suck if I started the swap and found some stupid little thing is different. |

id assume so. the only thing different from spyder and normal packages are aesthetics. convertable, leather/ heated seats. etc. etc.
a gt is a gt from the motor perspective |

I have no questions that my CAI will fit onto the 2009 Spyder. I'm more worried about moving the stock intake from the 2009 to the 2006 coupe. I'd guess the dealership would prefer to have the stock intake so it'll be easier to sell the car. |
