Well there is rumor that you can break the etd with out motor mounts. there have been people to have the etd first though. i'd get motor mounts then get the etd when you can.

If you're doing one or the other do the Poly Motor Mount kit. After I installed mine I noticed it right away. Night and day feeling. After installing the "Stiffy" I didn't notice much difference with exception of wheel hop off a hard launch is gone.

If you can only afford one or the other go with the motor mount's first. I had my ETD first and pretty much eliminated alot of the wheel hop off a launch. If you can afford both I would recommend having both. |

Of course I'm in agreeance with Travis. If you can possibly have both, then get them both. The thing with just doing the "stiffy" first is that it will slowly eat through your stock rubber mounts. You won't notice it at first, but eventually you'll notice them starting to crack and wear out ALOT faster than normal. The poly bushings won't do that and actually stiffen up the whole engine quite a bit.
You also have to think about how both of them work. The "stiffy" holds your engine at the top and against a strut tower. Holds it pretty well in place. The poly motor mounts use the EXISTING engine mount positions and simply fill the stock mounts with a very rigid solid piece of polyurethane. Since it uses the existing points as to where the engine was mounted in the vehicle, but improving upon the stock design you're going to get a much better response from such a modification. NOW! Don't get me wrong about any of this. Both of them are very good modifications, but if you had to choose. For sure go with the Poly motor mounts. After all, the rubber mounts will eventually wear out anyways. |

I have both but would suggest the mounts first.

mounts first, then stiffy, but if you are craving performance improvement you simply must have both w/ our FWD cars. that is what I have found, at least. then get a LSD in there.... Hehe
