E3.86 spark plugs
as some of you know,i had a case of bad gas the other day that i have resolved since then.in the process of elimination,i took the e3 plugs out that had only 9k miles on them and put the oem plugs back in that have been sitting in my tool box for over a year with 9k miles on them.well guess what, the oem plug is a helluva lot better.so,dont buy into the hype.just for clarification, the e3 plugs were not the cause of my bogging problem.it turns out they just suck.i made a specific thread on this so that others may see it if they get the urge to try them.dont do it.that is all.

I havent had the same problem as you. I have tried several brands, pulstar, NGK, denso... The E3's have been the best so far. This may be a stupid question, but did you verify the gap when you installed them?

![]() EDIT;forgot to add that these e3 plugs will allso make your engine run hotter.you wont see it on the cars temp guage..sure,they provide some extra low end torque guaranteed, your top end will suffer though.that is allso guaranteed.1 last thing,in some reviews with this plug, some people have burned a hole in 1 of their pistons.not good !!!!!

Just because you cant gap them doesnt mean you shouldnt check, just my experience. I'm at about 12k miles and no problems but I only use 93 octane gasoline. Maybe you just got a bad batch? Different strokes for different folks though. Thanks for sharing your experience.

i was thinking sri when i said that.i have seen dyno's on other car forums that showed with a cai,93 will gain some.with a sri however, with 93 or 87,you will lose.so if you have a cai, then your good
