Throttle Body Whistle
I installed the gt throttle body and it whistles on and off when i get to around 2 gear. Does this effect the performance at all?

Depends on what kind of whistle. If you aren't getting a proper seat between the manfold and the throttle body then you're leaking air which could cause some whistle.
Make sure your gaskets are good and everything is good-n-tite. |

its supposed to make that turboish sound. If it only opens up around those rpms you are fine. But go ahead and check to make sure everything is nice and tight that can never hurt.

You might just need to put a lil sealer on the gasket. I used carb cleaner to find the leak I had when I installed my Intake manifold spacer. Sprayed around the area with the car running, and it sputtered when I hit the area that was leaking.
