First dyno run (Stock) factory miracle?

I finally got around to dyno'ing my car this week, and I'm extremely happy with the results. I did 3 runs bone stock and pulled off some good HP.

NOTE: Before I start getting flamed by everyone, yes I am all stock. I know its not likely for anyone to make this much hp to the wheels stock, but it's not impossible. And the dyno I used works, runs, and is tuned just fine, we maintain it well. Every other car we dyno makes it's projected HP with expected losses from the crank to the wheels so think what you want.

I MADE 163 HP My last run all stock!!!!

Props man! At least now it seems like mitsu didnt lie too much with the projected ratings. Did you have an exhaust fan in front? Or info on the temperature and stuff? Id love to see the gains from just a good tune

I thought thats what he meant lol. It was free because I work up there after I'm out of my full time job. It's usually a couple hundred for 4 runs and any work/tuning you need while your on the dyno. And thanks mike, yeah we suet up a fan in front to keep thing kind of cool...it was like 95 that day lol.

yeah man, nice numbers and all. but this is impossibble, that dyno NEEDS to be reading high.

a stock GS pulls at about 130-140whp, according to your dyno, your actually 1 hp HIGHER than the projected crank HP, so you have no drivetrain loss here? yeah......

Yea If I dyno'd mine on that one I'd be pushing over 200 with my tune. I'm guessing they overcompensate so it reads what companys claim is to the crank. Cause 163hp is what we make to the crank, not WHP. Shit I'll make the trip to MA and throw mine on there if I have too

It's not impossible just improbable
and even if its reading the 9% higher id still make high 140's on another dyno

every dyno is a bit different, and as akley and zoom figured out that brand of dyno reads a little higher than most brands. I do know for a fact though that this specific dyno is tuned correctly regardless of the difference in brands. but hey Im happy with what I made either way and getting to do the dyno myself was a plus!

the only thing i find weird about the dyno is that we've dyno'd plenty of other cars and 90% made what was expected with losses and all with no abnormalities. but hey its no miracle car after all lmao

I'm attempting to get all the GS's to post their dynos on one thread. The more data we collect the better we can understand our cars. I posted up my stock spyder numbers and have plans to post any other dyno's I do as well. I will also list my mod's that way we have a good idea what the difference is from car to car and mod to mod. Dyno brands and types can give widely varied results.

At two separate dynos, my GTO put down 495 and 503whp respectively. I went to a car show with one of those portable dynos and I put down 589whp. There is no way I was putting down that much hp. It was calibrated incorrectly or something.
