So my co-worker is part of a racing team and has a 9 sec civic, he has been wanting to boost the eclipse since the day I got it. We got to talking and the shop he does his work and tuning at can do custom turbo set ups and has a dyno. So if anyone in Florida or any where that wants to drive is interested in a custom setup let me know.....Im trying to work out the details with him and if we get some people that are interested I will work out the numbers and see what is involved. The shop is in Fort Lauderdale BTW. I will see if I can get some pics of his set up in the civic.

No offense but just about anyone can bolt on a kit to a civic. These will be 100% custom from manifolds to the muffler, injectors and management, intercooler and plumbing...all made from stretch...it's hard to trust just anyone with all that fabrication.

Fort Lauderdale by Miami. It is like a 6-8 hour trip from you just thought you should know about it.

That's fine, my girl friend GP live in south beach. Little weekend trip to drop the car off and MIA now flys to Gainesville regional. $100.

i dont wanna be that guy.. but doesnt turbo like REALLY hurt our cars?
trust me i dream of having a 4g turbo as much as the next guy.. but even with a custom kit done completely right.. wont it put way to much strain on your transmission?

I've sure the gears will be fine. You could always harden then or just change them out if it could down to it. I'm sure most people will be running 10-12psi and under which I'm sure they won't have problems. Us guys doing internals will be pushing 15-25psi may have to do some changes down the road.

I'll be trailing the eclipse if the motor is done in time. if my motor isn't done I'll take me eclipse first then fly up for the motor and my Denali, the drive down crosses over Orlando and down. I'll meet up with you guys when the motor is in!
