Exclamation Problems: Ebrake light and rattle in drivers door

Alright I'm fairly new to this site and I've got a problem with my 2006 Eclipse GT. Everytime I step on the gas the e brake light goes on but eventually shuts off after awhile. Does the code just need to be cleared? I've only pulled the ebrake like twice while drifting in the snow in Canada . I haven't really looked into the problem, but if someone knows what it is right away that would really help.

Also, something rattles in my drivers side door like a bitch. The speaker isn't blown because it sounds fine. I also haven't looked into the problem yet and haven't took the door panel off so if someone has the same problem please let me know!

Thanks

My brake fluid was a tad low and my brake light would randomly come on and off as it pleased. Added some fluid and it's been off since. Check that first

High probability that it's just your brake fluid, this has happen to many members.

One thing to watch for if it is the brake fluid... The braking system is a closed system, i.e. there are only two reasons to have low brake fluid... so you either have a leak, which I doubt, or your brake pads are worn and will require replacement soon. When your brake pads wear the caliper pistons start to extend and fill with brake fluid, hence why your brake reservoir is low. So if that's the case, make sure you check the condition of your brake pads.

Thanks for the imput guys. It was just above the min so I filled and the lights off now. Took the wheels off and checked out the pads. The wear is uneven (one of the two pads is warn way more than the other). They look like they will need replacing soon so I bought a set of ceramic pads as well. I read on the site that most people have to get there rotors redone (pardon my terminology). I didn't fully understand the readings so if someone wants to put in there 2 cents that would be greatly appreciated.

You dont have to touch rotors if you dont want. If it's even wear you dont nned to cut them. But if you have extra $$$ drilled sloted rotors always nice to have.
