Just bought a 2007 Eclipse - now what?
Hey everyone - happy to be part of the Club4G ... got a fairly new 2007 Eclipse GS with body kit, carbon fiber hood, halo headlights, and 20" black rims ... all with 25K miles on it. (I'll try and post pics when I get home)

So I tried to search the forum to just find what I should do first, but I couldn't find a specific thread on what I'm trying to ask...

Anyone want to send me some tips on what I should do first to the car - proper maintenance etc. (like should I do new spark plugs - if so what kind?, and other tweaks ... exhaust, headers, etc.?)

Here's what I've done so far:

-Oil Change (immediately - haha)
-Fujita CAI with Injen hydroshield

and all i can say is just start rumiging through the forums. i have found so many amazing things on this site and have gotten help from a lot of people. occassionaly you run into a cocky asshole but just know that 99% of the people here are only to help you and really want to. its all about furthuring the eclipse community. any help you need im not the one to help you. im just know starting to learn all the tuning terminology so next spring i can tune the car myself. But check out my car ive modded it a good amount and have tons left to do. Definatley check out all the CARS OF THE MONTH. great sexy cars and amazing builds.


Also i am wondering where do you live? were planing a huge meet next year

Thanks for the response guys!

Yeah I had a 1999 GST Eclipse so I'm pretty up to speed on bolt ons and terminology etc.

I was just curious if there were any quick things I could do for proper maintenance such as the spark plugs or any parts I should check out etc. (buying a used car ya never know what you're quite getting into)

no need to go one step colder or anything like that unless in the future if u plan on running boost . . . stock ngk plugs r fine

Do you think that they would look ok on my Halo headlights? Anyone have any good shots of that type of setup?

Hey guys, I need to change out the spark plugs in my 07 eclipse GT 3.8 engine and I need to know what I need to do to get to the back 3 plugs can anyone help me out asap oh yeah and it has a cold air intake on it.
