nokiauser has a spectacular aura about
Centric Slotted, R-1, or Disc Italia rotors?

I'm prepping myself for a new set of rotors and pads for the 4G 4-Cyl. I need one that has a good balance in price, performance, and looks. But most important, it has to battle through the harsh conditions of winter in the rust belt.

Centric - Slotted: $180 (front) / $125 (rear)
Road Race Engineering's 4G Eclipse Parts and Performance
RRE carries them and a lot of you guys might have these. How long have you had them before noticing rust?

R-1 Concepts - Cross Drilled & Slotted: $130 (front) / $92 (rear)

Supposedly, these are good.

Disc Italia - Drilled & Slotted: $245 (front) / $215 (rear)
X Drilled & Slotted - Drilled & Slotted: $155 (front) / $125 (rear)
Performance Brakes - Brake Pads, Brake Rotors and Brake Kits

Does anyone have inputs? Personally, I would support RRE's products just because they've stuck around with us for so long and Lydia is awesome in making all the arrangements go through as smoothly as possible.

All of them will be similar, rust happens on any performance rotor but usually just on the contact surface.

I don't have any experience with the bottom 2 on your list, centric is good stuff though.

I went through RRE and got the Centric slotted rotors. I have them matched with the stock calipers and the Centric Ceramic pads and my stopping power is amazing. Actually better than my 300ZX with the stock 4 piston fronts and 2 piston rears...
