How to: SEAFOAM!

Okay so, Instead of writing a rinse, repeat thread of someone elses work, Here is the follow up I used, which you should view, and I will highlight key aspects.
How To Seafoam Your Car - LS1TECH
Okay so Sea foaming your car is a THREE STEP PROCESS.
You would need to approach this process within a near oil change (must) and a 1/4th filled tank (optimal, subjective)
~~~~TOOLS NEEDED...
1.) Needle nose (to take metal clamp off of brake booster line)
2.) Pick (To take hose off B.B. Line)
3.) * Reccomended: A second person to tap the gas(Notice TAP) as the car sucks seafoam.
4.) A small funnel for better control of intake of sea foam.
5.) TWO Bottles (1 pint ea) of Seafoam!
~~~~ Fears, Scary stuff
Some crazy stuff will happen. When you disconnect your B.B. Line, your car will stall out, and the motor will shake violently. Tap the gas to keep rpm's up, as plugging the vacuum line with a spout is pretty hard. The car will idle rough, and smoke will come out of all the pores of the engine. EXPECT THIS... Also, it will sound like really bad knock... But it isnt.
~~~~ GETTING STARTED.
Go to the store, get the seafoam, and come back. Your car should be midway through the temperature gauge. Gooooood. You want the car nice and warmed up.
~~~~INJECTORS/B.B LINE...
In the video shown, I show you the B.B. Line. Just take the clamp off, pick the hose, and stick the spout in. Start the car. SLOWLY SLOWLY SLOWLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pour in half a can of S.F. and of that half amount, 2/3's should be super slow... while the 1/3's left, you will pour it in fast enough to stall it out.

Did she like her alcohol? Is she sleeping? Good. Let her sleep for about 10-20 minutes, let the stuff get absorbed. She will have the biggest hangover soon.

~~~~GAS TANK/LINES
Simple, take that new can, and dump her all in the tank. You should be down to just half a can now. Do this while she is sleeping. ;]
~~~~ DRIVING
After you fill the gas tank with seafoam AND injectors, DRIVE THE F'N BALLS OUT OF YOUR CAR. Constant pulls, Red lining, This is your excuse to RUN THE PISS OUT OF HER.

~~~~ OIL
You will HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wait til she cools down.
Lets think for a moment. Room temp Seafoam + Blazing hot valve springs/oil...You will shock the metal, and wholey crap, just go buy a dunce cap and avoid cars.
So after its cooled down, (turn key to on to check temp gauge, should be at the very bottom, or close) Take off the oil cap, pour the rest of the half in there, and close the cap. Turn her on, drive her for ATLEAST 50 miles, and no more than 120 miles. The oil that comes out will be blacker than satans balls, and the oil filter will be sludge town.
Change the oil+filter.
~~~~ Congrats, your car is new money.

HERE IS THE CRAZY VIDEO! 15.6k miles!!!

ive had seafoam. never did it. even if i did do it though i wouldnt trust it in the oil. something tells me (regardless of bottle or user comments) oil should be the only thing in oil... ive seen octane boosters and shit but never anything that went in the oil

Its safe and you have my word that it is. I have it in my oil. Runs fine. I'll take pictures of my synthetic oil afterwards, and all the muck and shit, you will definitely have too. Im telling you, it will run like new money. Seafoam is petrolium or how ever you spell it. So its safe inany oil/gas/diesel. Do it dax...

HOMESLICE has a spectacular aura about
Dax, my suggestion is to put it in the crankcase when you are ready to change the oil. Drop in the 1/3 can before changing the oil and take the car for a 10-20 mile drive (or to your oil shop) to let it lubricate. then it will be ready to come out of the crankcase with the old oil. during the 10 mile drive it should do its magic in there to clean it

No. Put half a can in for full treatment. 1.5 oz for every quart. Comes out to 8.25 oz, pretty much half the can. And drive for atleast 50. I dont believe 20 will be worth the money you pay to clean it. And yes, directly to crank.

Yeah. It should only go into the b.b. Line, not the fic. And you really do need a funnel. I actually poured the can into a clear container and measured half way. God damn does the motor shake and pout!!!

synthetic is on a distinguished road
i just did this in the fuel filter for my jetta 1.6L diesel.

popped fuel filter off, emptied the fuel that was in there, filled it to the top with seafoam, then started the car. of course i did this after taking the car on a very hard drive for about 30-45 mins to get that engine temp up there.

seafoam is safe on both gasoline and diesel engines, in fuel or crank case.

just one application of it in the jetta i found that it ran smoother, was much more quiet, and had better throttle response.

I'd run it on my eclipse but i only got 40,000km on it so i don't think i really NEED to yet.

but this stuff works great, and its safe for all that it says it is!

Well thanks for refering to other how-to's... ON A HOW TO. This was written in counter action of those hard to read + gotta calculate shit. I'm living proof that seafoam will work on the eclipse, and even at 15.6k miles, its WELL WORTH IT TO DO IT.

On the Injectors/B.B. Line:

Why do you pour the last 1/3 fast to stall it out? I watched a few how to vids on youtube and they just pour it slowly (half the can), after pouring it in, they just turn off the car (not stalling it).

So that its still in the lines, and slowly moves through the engine components while its off. Kinda like a rinse after a wash.
