Yes I have the elbow type spacers, seem to be a good design, just make sure you install the elbows on the header before you install the header otherwise there isn't enough room to screw them in. Learned the hard way, gotta redo my front header this weekend...

Just dropped off my GT at the garage for the header work. Only now did we notice there were no gaskets in the kit to mate the headers to the motor. Do I need to buy new gaskets?

Just drove the car home from the garage. First impression: it's a bit buzzy. You don't hear it as much in the car, but it's there. Between 3-4k rpm it's more noticeable (no buzz at all under 2k). Not the most irritating thing in the world though, I practically forgot about it by the time I got home. The throttle seems more sensitive and will react instantly to minor movements. I didn't change my driving style in the least bit and have peeled the tires on half throttle all around town. I didn't get a chance to flog it much as there was a lot of traffic, but I'm fairly certain it picked up a few ponies at the shop.

I smelled fuel just after starting the car up for the first time. Car runs very well with no CEL.

wicked sweet! I appreciate you keeping me up to date. CEL lights don't bother me... just proves you're modded (or a shit tuner lol) As for the slight buzz ill have to figure out what i want to do if I encounter the same problem. Once again thank yah. Oh and what exhaust system are you rocking?? Any cat delete or resonator/muffler delete or perhaps a complete aftermarket set up?

My catback is all stock, no modifications there yet. It is louder, yes, but not by very much, at least not that I've noticed. If you drive your car normally and short shift, you'd be hard pressed to know there was any exhaust work done at all.

No problem, I'm glad to have been of some help lol
