Well, just got Prototype last night.

I played until 3 AM. Love it. Free roam. Reminds me a little of Crackdown but with a much more in depth story line.

Anybody else got it yet?

I'm thinking about getting it but, it's hard paying full price for games now. How long is the game supposed to last anyway? 10-15hours or more?

I'm not sure to be honest. I'll say I've played for about 7 or 8 already...I'm way into it and it is still going. I'm doing almost all the side quests though so it will probably take a little bit longer.

I usually always trade a game in when I buy a game. Helps me save, plus I've got an Edge Card from Gamestop. Saves me a little more.

well in sales the wii is kill both. Gameinformer says that wii sold 50 million units Xbox sold 28 mill, and PS3 sold 22mill

and the ps3 came out a whole year after..

Just it got yeasterday. Its crazy so far. Im loving it. One the of best action/killing games put out since crack down.

by far the story is more compelling, but i need to beat Prototype now to see if... it can even come close..

they are similar, but the stories are different enough...
I am going to play through prototype and i will let you know what i think..

and I am talking PS3, but prototype is available on both systems

im on day 18 i think of prototype.. i rented it from blockbuster cause i wanted to see how the game was before i dropped the loot for it.. BUT.. im gonna cash in on blockbuster.. apparently.. its around $9 to rent a game there now.. you get it for 5 days.. but have a 7 day grace period to return it.. so basically you can rent it for 2 weeks.. after that 7 day grace period.. you get charged the full amount of the going price for the game ($60) on your credit card.. BUT if you return the game within 30 days of that.. you get your $60 (or however much your game is) refunded and you get charged a $1.25 restocking fee.. so ive had it for a little over 2 weeks now.. and on the last or 2nd to last act. so basically i'll beat the game and only have paid about 10 or 11 bucks for it. the game is pretty cool.. the absolute destruction is the best part of it.. once you get the shield armor ability and run through crowded streets plowing thru people and cars.. its fuckin fun! some parts towards the end get pretty tough and frustrating.. but otherwise its a fun and fairly simple game. worth the money if you wanted to buy it

-check with your blockbuster first about their late policy beforehand if you wanna take advantage of them.. just in case some stores follow different policies.

Prototype rocks! I have a modded 360 over here in Iraq, and get all the new games for 2-3 bucks. I love em all. I can't wait to get bac and get a PS3 though, that thing blows the 360 out of the water IMHO.

yea it's out for PC mang I've had this for a while I haven't been able to play it since about 2 weeks ago, at work we have an 2 OC-24 Lines I believe (may Be 2x OC-12) and we all torrent up their so ive been bringing home 2-3 games a week the last few weeks so if its not been fallout 3 DLC, or Street Fighter, or ARMA II, or something else i've been to tired to play lol back OT though the game is great, i'm biased of course but it looks better on PC.

Haven't gotten that far maybe day 4-5 It is a great fun game, but it got a bit repetitive for me after a while (probably because i didn't even play the main story line but played for hours on side quests and just free roaming killing shit.) It felt VERY much like Assassins creed to me....without the stealth factor involved......in fact its about as far as you can go from assassins creed in that respect. but it has the same feel if youve played it and play prototype youll see what I mean so I didn't like that because i didn't like assassins creed after I got to Jerusalem (pick pocketing was a bitch!) anyway thats my review/comparison for it XD

won't lie though I am jealous infamous isn't coming to PC i have a PS3 but FPS/3rd Person shooters Are better with a KB & Mouse IMO.
