Who has been playing this huge badass game? If anyone other than me has been getting obsessed with it, post up here anything cool you find, talk about your character build, quests, or anything you feel like talking about.

Probably the most badass thing I've done so far is working on a kahjitt that's heavy armor and unarmed. Also I have gloves of the pugulist, which give +10 unarmed. I'm going to disenchant those to make a full set of unarmed +10 gear. Heavy armor has a perk that gives you the armor of your heavy armor in a + to unarmed. Kahjitts have a bonus 15 unarmed naturally. So, add all that up. +50 (or more) in gear, +~50 (or more) in the armor perk, +15 normally, = 115 at least in unarmed

It's not an online RPG, It's a MASSIVE sandbox style game that you can play just about any way you want, and never do everything there is to do no matter how much time you put in it

I've been playing modded Oblivion (For anyone who played a heavily modded oblivion they understand how cyrodil never ever gets boring) for years now and I'm wondering if skyrim can hold up well to me since I'm on the fence with buying it. I'm so used to how absolutely, mind-blowing epic modded oblivion is that I don't want my expectations and experience to destroy my enjoyment of the new TES game....and is skyrim moddable?

Yeah there are actually quite a few mods for it even though it's only been around for a week. Many more to come. I play on xbox though.

havent even started... i got it 2 days ago. ran myself ragged on no sleep. and then Saints Row 3 came out yesterday. jammed about 10 hours of that in last night. im more of a console gamer and Skyrim is on my PC. but i think the thing holding me from it is i rarely ever finish RPGs. (hell im still only about a quarter through oblivion after 3 years) and i dont wanna pick it up knowing i wont finish it..

plus ive heard a rumor of over 100+ hrs of gameplay... and that terrifies the shit outta me lol

Character build: Redguard. Dual wields two war axes. Both enchanted. Heavy armor and heal spells. Is also good with a bow. Recently just turned into a werewolf.

So far I'm loving this game. However it still can't take my attention off of Lord of the Rings Online.

Only problem I have with skyrim is that every cave and bandit hideout looks the same and has the same layout... and the dragons are way to easy to kill. I love the idea of this game and it is great but its getting repetitive really fast... just my 2 cents but I am still enjoying it

Yeah you can bump the difficulty up or down as needed which is really cool. And about the cave design and hideout. They actually had multiple designers come in to design the many different hideouts and caves. Get further along in the game and you will notice pretty substancial differences between the areas.

They did an amazing job on the caves. Amazing how far dungeon crawling has come since when I played Dungeons and Dragons on the Intellivision back in the early 80s.

Yea I have put in a good 17 hours so far, exploring ALOT but just left High Hrothgar. Pretty much found every cave/hideout around that mountain. Some friends just told me the same thing, about the caves being vastly different once you get further.

Last night I was inducted into the College of Winterhold. There was an excavation site that I finished off there with new dragon words for an Ice spell I have yet to try.

heh It really is a good game. Greatest thing in my opinion is how the world itself modifies according to your character. How people react to you based on your actions. I was headed up the road and ran across some Imperial soldiers who detained a member of clan whatever. Forgot the name. He was running from bandits. My initial instinct was to talk to the soldiers and see what was up. However they came towards me to talk to once i was noticed. Didn't think twice. I slaughtered them and then turned towards the bandits.

The captive I set free and he explained a bit about who he was with and thanked me. So now whenever I run into Imperial soldiers they are hesitent to deal with me because they think somethng might be up with me. Just so cool. That and you can craft weapons and armor. Enchant. Make potions. And the world being that in game is about 16 square miles makes it almost endless. I hate it. lol

Just about every MOB I drop I seemingly pick up lock pics. I have about 60 in my inventory right now. Just keep looting, you'll get 'em.
