So, last weeking i went to install my underdrive pulley and figured while i was down there i would buy a Gates belt to put on also, to avoid any problems. As i was in Andvanced Auto Parts Store I saw the Duplicolor Undercoating w/ Sound Eliminator. I thought, I'll put some of this in my wheel wells while i'm under there. Then i got a better idea. So, after i finished my pulley and spark plug install I proceeded to remove the Plasic hatch covers and spray the back of them with 2 coats of the Undercoating. I then sprayed the inside of the hatch panel with 1 coat. I let it dry for about two or three hours then checked on it. I knocked on the plastic panels and they were solid as a rock. The aluminum on the hatch was as well. i took it for a drive, and low and behold, hatch noise decreased dramatically. I almost could barley hear the exhaust from the back anymore. I did previously dynomat the area where the spare tire is, though. The sub does not rattle any of the panels at all. I am very impressed. The only problem is that it will take a week to get the smell out of the car. I will move on to the door panels and wheel wells later. Took me 2.5 cans of spray. About 7 bucks a piece at AdvancedAutoParts.
Has anyone else tried this before? Dupli-Color :: Undercoating Buy Duplicolor Professional Undercoat with Sound Eliminator, Black, 17 oz. Aerosol UC102 at Advance Auto Parts

This is the first time i've heard of this product. I have an annoying rattle coming from the metal heat shield above where the stock cat was in the mid pipe. Now I have a resonator there and that's whats causing it to vibrate. I am going to pick up a can of this stuff this weekend and give it a shot.
