Will I need an alignment after half in drop?
So my car was recently lowered about 2 inches. I'm going to lower the front about another half inch and only on the front. Will I need a wheel alignment AGAIN just for a half inch drop?

I have Megan coilovers I already dropped my car once and got a wheel alignment done. I was just wondering if I want to drop the front another half inch would it be necessary to get another alignment done.

^yeah not a bad idea - should be free if the alignment was done recently and it's garenteed work. if it's not going to be free, and you don't notice any 'pulling' or anything and it seems ok at the steering wheel, you'd probably be ok waiting until your next regular alignment. but yes, as ross says, wouldn't hurt to be safe.

any time you touch your suspension, brakes or even change tires, you should get an alignment.

If you have Megan Coilovers (any coilovers), you unlock the large ring lock-nut, then just above that, use the same wrench to adjust the higth of the coilovers. Don't forget to take measurements so you know how far you are dropping. After you are done adjusting, don't forget to tighten the lock-ring, and make sure you check the lock-ring about a month later to make sure it didn't come loose.

im a lil bit confused Clovisman. on the megan coilovers theres 3 lock nuts all together. theres the main one on the bottom and then theres the 2 that lock into each other. Your saying unlock the main one on the bottom and them the big one on top?
