RED QUEEN *Update*

Well I just continued to finish my modifications since I decided to keep my GS, and I finished installing the Halo's and my HID's for both my headlights and fog lights. and I believe they came out pretty fucking epic, and tomorrow I am gonna complete the blacked out roof, and some other work. it looks pretty epic so far, let me know what you guys think.

Do you have 4 halo's in each headlight or is that a reflection?
Post some daytime pics with the lights off so we can get a closer look...

It is just the reflection off of the chrome housing.

when you installed your headlights, is it just an easy plug in to the original light plug or did you have to cut and rewire?

Im curious because I just ordered the black halo's and I wanted to know how easy the install is...

the lights themselves are easy they plug right in, the halo's are a little complicated if you don't know which way you want to install them since there are a few set ups, mine are run directly to the parking lights, or the first turn on your headlight area, BUT the hardest part will be to install them since the easiest way is to remove the bumper since it will allow you to connect things alot more easy.

So there is a separate plug for the halo's, or just wires that need to be spliced into the parking lights?

And also, you gotta be shit'n me, I have to remove the front bumper to do a headlight exchange? Theres gotta be an easier way, no?

a set of wires per halo (and led's if u choose to wire those also) that need to be spliced into whatever u wanna put them into (parking lights, signals, headlights etc)

and yeah u can just take the headlights out without removing the bumper thats what a did, its just a motherfucker because there are 2 bolts by the fender that are a bitch nd a half to reach

Is it easier to get to the bolts if you remove the wheel?

no plug, just wires you will need to splice into the harness, and no there is no easier way to change the headlight then to remove the bumper, you could yank out the front of the bumper to try and reach the lights but you will need some friends and expect to fuck up your knuckles. but I am making a PDF guide, finishing it up now for Auto City Imports that has detailed illustrations on removal and installations of both the headlight and the Halo's themselves. plus they come with little connectors so you can splice them without having to cut anything.

it makes it easier but at the same time its still a pain in the ass regardless, with the bumper off it allows you more room to work without having to squeeze into everything.

I am seriously and I mean seriously considering starting a project to create a rear bumper similar to the 06 Eclipse Ralli-art concept and then mount on it some custom dual exhausts. Also considering if I can intigrate the Ford Sync system into a Mitsubishi Eclipse, and maybe reprogram the OS to match the eclipse,I know that project will be a pain in the ass to integrate since I will need to find a way to make it control all the shit the sync controls in ford cars.
