Hi! New here. I have a 2007 Sport Edition Eclipse. I typically have the oil serviced every couple of months but I've noticed that a 'service oil' or 'check oil' light has never come on - even when I've gone 5-6 months between changes. Do you know if this is something that the '07's have?

Also, there are holes under the headlights for what look like fog lights, but mine just has plastic placeholders in them. Do you know where I can buy lights for that area and if they are expensive? Are they hard to install or can I do them myself?

you dont want those lights to come on.

fogs are a simple install. ur car is already pre-wired so u just gotta get under the car, pop out the black plastic covers on there now, pop the new covers in, then a couple bolts to hold the light in place, plug in harness and thats it

Seriously? You bought an SE trim and it didn't come with fog lights.....hmmm

If an oil indicator comes on it means you have lost oil pressure and immediately cut your engine off.....damage is already concurring. We call that an idiot light for a reason....you should never let your car get into that condition.

there are GT's that dont come with fog lights. . they make it an option for a certain amount of them in order to accomodate cumstomer needs and purchasing price

The SE Trim has fog lights as a stock feature not an option. There are base model GT's that didn't come with alot of things, but the SE trim is like getting the GT with the premium package. Comes with all the bells and whistles already.

OP - Check your VIN against the Mitsubishi database at a dealer and see if it's a true SE. If it isn't this'll be the 2nd "SE" I've seen that dealers advertise as such and don't come as such.

Not sure if this makes a difference, but I bought it from a dealer that was using it as a dealer car. It had one previous owner and low mileage on it. Maybe that's why they didn't put them in?

It has everything else - Fosgate stereo, SW in the trunk, leather seats, etc.

I have a 07 se and it didnt come with fog lights either

I have seen multiple SE models without fogs
