What happens to all the Eclipses still remaining in car dealers' lots when production of the Eclipse stops sometime in August? Do they just stay there, or are the dealers required to send them back to Mitsubishi's assembly plant in Illinois?

surely they don't send them back. maybe they send them somewhere else, another dealer or whatever but I imagine they just keep trying to sell them. but what the hell do I know?

Dealer by me said the price will get slashed down to get rid of inventory. Of course he tells me after i alrdy bought mine lol

Lol, why would they send them back there? It's not like they are going to take them apart and use parts for their new green(gay) cars. They will sell them all at the current dealerships or move them to dealerships where they can be sold.

Thank you for your kind responses. I was just curious, just in case if there is ever a small chance I can aquire an Eclipse in the future.
