My brother is currently coming up with a gauge pod using the little halfmoon piece on the dash above the center console. He said that he would consider making them for the board if there was enough interest. He didn't say how many people were needed so I didn't want to put this in the group buy. He just said if it wasn't worth his time he would just do mine. Let me know if you guys are interested! It is really easy to run wires from this spot and I think the gauges would look sick positioned there.

^When I get mine taken care of I will definitely post pictures. What he is planning right now is the three of them centered in the unit with some space between the center and left and right gauge. He is also going to put them at an angle towards the driver. Not an extreme angle but maybe like 10-15 degrees just so they are facing you a little more. He said he can also do the face for the cluster in almost any color people want.

My bad... been a while since I have read the rules and that one slipped my mind. I don't mind if it is moved I just didn't really have any place that was glaringly obvious to put it.

He could probably put something together for the steering wheel column. He built his entire dash for his S10 so I doubt he would have trouble taking care of that... it just kind of depends on the time he has.

Ok, I will take a picture of what he put together for his truck just so you have an idea of what he can do, He didn't have a ton of time this week to work on the pod because his wife was sick and he was working on his truck's carburetor. I am going to be gone all day today so I will try to get them up tomorrow.

wow, not what i was expecting... I take it you are talking about an entire replacement for the oem dash gauges? I thought this would be more like what we tried to have developed previously, a replacement for the clock dome.

Lol it does now that you mention it. He is working on the clock replacement, I was just showing what he has done in the past with his truck. He built that cluster by himself and it looks clean.

He said he probably could. It is just a matter of him taking some time and laying it out. He really is brilliant when it comes to this kind of stuff. Maybe post a picture of how you want them laid out (maybe in paint) and I am sure he can see what he can do. The only thing is he doesn't really have prices laid out yet or anything. I doubt this is going to be 25 dollar gauge pod but I can say for sure that he does good work and he is very meticulous about making things look good. We have just been very busy with my turbo build the past few days so he hasn't had a lot of time to get at the gauges but we will see what happens in the next week or so. I will keep you guys posted.

the majority of people who will want this item, want it because the dome is render almost useless once an aftermarket head unit is installed. I already have gauges in the dome but would buy a 350z or subura replica dash dome pod thing. like this:

a smooth oem look install is very important to me.

I was looking for that thread. to my understanding these are not available and were not massed produced. if i recall the fitment on these was not perfect and had a gap so it wobbled and rattled. these screw on to the dash and screwed in from the top if i remember correctly. it was far from a clean install.

very anxious to see what comes of this, if its clean, i will buy.

Sorry Guys, I have been super busy finishing up my last year of college. We got something mocked up but it isn't perfect. It will take a little more fiddling this summer most likely to get something flawless. What I have right now I like a lot but there is a slight gap (So basically at shows it would look tacky) But when girls get in they don't know the difference and they see the gauges and are like "OOoooooooOOOOOohhhhhHHH" I will take some pics soon.
