so i got an offer today. some guy stopped by my house today and left his name and number with my roommate. he told him to have me call him about buyin my car. i called him and he asked me if i was interested in sellin my car. i told him i would think about it and told him i wouldnt take any less then 15,000 for the car. he just straight up said ok thats fine. i looked online for a couple of cars to c if i wanted to actually sell my car or not. im havin some trouble deciding which of the 2 i want. im thinking of, either a 2003 evo VIII or a nissan r34 skyline. does any one have any imput on which one would be the better choice. im leaning towards the r34 but im still debating.

if your looking for the r34 make sure it was a legal import one and not a gray market, cause ICE has been trying to confiscate them. i would also check on insurance rates just to make sure no one tries to screw you hard on insurance for it.

while i havent looked at the numbers in detail, i think the S2000 is no slouch to begin with, a lot lighter than the Eclipse, and lots of aftermarket support...

yeah, i got a couple of friends around here that have them and there scared to race me because they know our cars r quick. i drove one and was like wow. dont get me wrong tho, there nice but there still just a honda. i know its sounds like im bustin on hondas just a little but when u live in a town full of hondas that ppl dont know how to do things right u start gettin a bad taste in ur mouth. i would be nice to have a rear wheel drive tho. but on the other side all wheel is great.

well i showed the guy my car today and he will have the money in hand thursday. i have already called around and found a evo. they r goin to hold it for me and as soon as i get ill post some pics. maybe really soon i will finally be able to break the 11's. i know a few ppl here that have already done it with theres but ive never hit anywhere that close

good luck getting and R34... you would be better off getting an 33, or 32... for one, more were legally imported, and 2 they can be had for much cheaper

there r no problems if you find one that is already here or in canada. butcoming from japan they started sumthin where it has to be 25 yrs old now to import from there. there r places all around that sell them legely here u just have to find them. its usually by someone u know, to hard to find them on the internet.

OK everyone i finally made up my mind. i found a 1995 toyota supra tt 6-speed for sale and have been talking to the guy and he is holding it for me. it has the 2jz in it. only down is it has 137k miles but then again it is a older toyota, easy and cheep to rebuild. especially since i do everything myself. i should have the car tomorrow, i post some pics when i get it. and thanks to everyone with their sugestions.

yeah i am. the 93 thru 98 supra has been my dream car for about 10 yrs now and now that i finally got a chance to get one im def grabbin it. its all stock right now but that means i wont have to mess with other ppls mistakes.

Lots of jap imports can be had by military personel. My buddy bought a prelude with the jap j23. Fuckin beast. A r34 even not gone through the proper customs channels have been owned opperated stateside by a buddy in the af. Another had a 3000gt vr4 with the unrestricted jap motor. All i can say, balls dude. Balls.
