how to take a 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse gs Serpentine Belt off

The other day I went to start my eclipse and could not get it to turn it over it sounds like it wants to turn over but it wont i tried jump starting it and it was no good and I had the battery tested and it was good so i'm thinking its the alternator so ive searched all over the car for the Serpentine Belt diagram to find the tension bolt but could not find it could someone please tell me how to remove the belt.

Ok wow um alright first off if you search the forums you'll normally find what you need. Second we don't have a tension bolt we have an auto tensioner. Take a half inch drive breaker bar and pry back then slide a small Allen wrench in the hole on the bottom of the tensioner til it holds itself back. Third look on rre website for the belt pattern if you have a gs or tearstone! And lastly tearstone is your friend look over the manual there! Good luck but I don't think it's your alternator bc it would start but would run long if it was your alternator keep me posted cause I have a few theories!

I actually tested my fuel pump hooking it up directly to the battery and it was powering up but when I hooked it back up to the car it wasn't getting any power would you happen to know what would cause the fuel pump to stop getting power cause that's the problem im having now.

nokiauser has a spectacular aura about
Next time you're searching for "serpentine belt" info, probably want to look for "pulley" because to get the underdrive pulley on, you have to loosen the tensioner and remove the stock serpentine belt.
