im kinda new but i have a problem with my trans its having trouble shifting into drive when its clod and when its cold it doesnt seem to want to shift from first to second with out high reving it still shifts fine when its warm but when its cold it seems to want to shift hard or later then normal if anyone else has had this problem can you please help me figure this problem out?

cold as in cold weather? or cold as in sitting over night?

well it all started when the temp here in wisconsin just droped a lil bit but this morning on my way to work when i would sit at a light and then gave it gas to go it didnt wanna go and when it did the tires started to spin and then my check engine light went on so i stoped at advance right by my work and hooked the scanner up and all it said was 4th gear was incorrect so now im probally gonna end up taking it in and getting the tranny replaced since i still have my warranty on it
