steering wheel

I am looking to order a new steering wheel to g with my seats and the sparco flash 5 red wheel. I was wondering how to tell what wheels fit and all that stuff. Do I need an adapter or is it plug and play? Search was no halp

I don't think there is one that will go right on...you need an adapter...I'm trying to think who's done it one here...ST.Louis Eclipse I think or snakeyes....ask one of them via PM or check their sig to make sure they actually have done it. hopefully someone who knows will see this and respond.

Hmm, I'll check it out. In the mean time, I hope someone responds that knows something. I'm assuming no one makes adapters for us? I know on my prelude, I just had to get a civic hub so I could use my momo wheel. Any chance I could just do that?

Thanks joeyb. You rule. Yeah, I'm worried about the car taking a dump when I get an aftermarket wheel and seats

looks, smaller diameter wheel is very worth it to me.allso having it closer to me is a good thing cause i like to relax when i drive(or ridin dirty lol).the car wont take a shit but you will lose your airbag and cruise unless you can figure it out like me.if you are young and careless with your driving, then i suggest you keep your oem steering wheel and airbag.the pic that joey posted of the wheel itself is not the one i am running now.that nrg wheel kinda sucked.you will have to be creative with the cruise switch and horn.most people will not do this cause its not a simple procedure as far askeeping the cruise and horn.i plan on keeping my gs to the wheels fall off and thats why i changed mine along with a few other permanent things.the turn signals turn off exactly as before as well.

but we ALL have our different taste and using a aftermarket steering is just one of my taste and as long as they make the parts to put aftermarket wheels on cars,i will continue to do so.be glad to help anyone that wants to do this as long as your over 21 years of age.peace

and in case you're wondering, this is a nrg steering wheel hub, dont remember the exact name of the spacer but i can link you too it.it comes in red, blue, silver and black if i remember correctly, then a grant to momo hub adaptor so i can run any 5 bolt grant or any 6 bolt momo or nrg steering wheel.my options are almost limitless even though i will keep my grant until it wears out and i will get another one just like it.i highly suggest that if you dont want to use a spacer like me,the you will have to get a quick release but if you are going to get a quick release, the get a works bell and NOT a nrg one.

What's the part number? I think I found what you are using through google. I forget the part number though. I think it was nrg

Yep, I saw somewhere that said to use that part but when I googled the part no. Nothing came up for 4g eclipse so I wanted to make sure. Thanks!

You can search 2g steering wheels on e bay. Most Mitsubishi hubs are the same except the evos mono steering wheel.

i advise against that one.i had that orginally and its crap, dont let the pic fool you, thats not what you get when they send it.stick to the nrg srk-100h,it looks better and its built better than the boss hub.plus the blinkers click off normal with the nrg vs the boss hub.
