hello, im new just purchased a 2012 GS two weeks ago, not many parts i've found so far for this year, so far i've ordered the aic blackout spoiler, so now im looking into exhaust. I dont wanna cut cat or res off, so i need a loud muffler,

I was leaning towards the Aero 2540i, since my car has 2 mufflers, im assumming i'd have to buy 2 Aero 2540i and go to midas or local muffler shop and have them weld em inplace of the stock mufflers right? since these mufflers have tips on the muffler it will replace the tips which i like, im a little curious about he hanger or how it will mount cause i havn't seen a hanger on the muffler pics of Aero 2540i , also if you guys know of any mufflers i could just weld in place that sound good where i can just reuse my stock tips im all ears,

from what ive read magnaflow is the best for our cars makes best sound, not ricey sound that other mufflers make on our car

I've seen plenty of vids of them, but only the v6 they make the catback for so that means i have to order just the mufflers, which i have no clue which one,

i had the aero on my car. it will be louder then the magnflow. making the hangers work with stock mounts shouldnt be an issue for a shop that knows what they are doing

This is a question I have been curious about, as well. Anyone know the part number of the Magnaflows that will work with the 2009+ GS?

actually the magnaflow catback is a much better choice than just a muffler. the catback uses the resonator (which has much better flow and design than stock) with the muffler to make for a good sounding combo.

they have one for the gt not sure if it would work for the gs. they must be working on it still, cause the price is listed as tbd and the image says coming soon

I have just a $30 N1 style muffler sounds amazing no raspy sound at all

the car will pretty much only get raspy if the cats and resonator are removed.

It will sound good no matter what really. You have a big bore 4 cyl engine that does naturally have a deeper sound than a smaller displacement 4 cyl. Go with whatever you like. Do some research. I know the Aeroturbine's are great mufflers...I've heard nothing but great things about them. Personally I've probably spent close to 1200 bucks on muffers/resonators/etc just to get my exahust the way I like it now.
