Car and Driver 2012 Cars
Was looking at the 2012 cars issue today. The
Eclipse got 1 out of 5 stars. They said it looks like a blob, and is not fun to drive. That kinda bummed me out.

In stock trim, while it isn't the best car out there, it's miles ahead of other econoboxes. If they drove the automatic GS, then I can completely understand their comments but I'm surprised they even mentioned it.

I checked their website and this is what they had to say about it:

Well the only thing I actually agree with is the comment on the steering, and turning radius. My GT does have bad torque-steer but that's because it has so much power and it's a fwd. I don't care what they say I love my Eclipse!

Fuck car and driver. i love my car and it's a ton of fun to drive. yeah the suspension has a little "play in it" but i can still pull corners at some pretty quick speeds.

they should compare the Eclipse (basically designed in 2005 / 2006) to the Mustang of that era... Mitsu has never really updated the Eclipse since, just a tweak or 2 here and there, unlike Ford...
comparing even a '11 Eclipse to an '11 Stang is not quite fair...

lol i barely see any eclipse in my city, and i swear to you, every 2 minutes i see a camaro and another every 5 min i see a mustang. I would be bothered if every other car was the same as mine... its like whats the point of showing it off if every asshole drives the same car? my eclipse on the other hand, when people see it their like damn.. now thats original
