Hey guys I got a guy who owns his own body shop and said he will shave, prime and paint my mitsubishi eclipse body kit and install it which ever one i get for 800 bucks and i have no experience in this but is that a good price? also i figured he would do it for cheaper if i just bought a bolt on body kit, any suggestions?

Your saying that he will prime and paint your stock body kit? As in the one that's not a body kit and is the stock car? Or are you saying that you have a body kit and he thinks you should buy a new one. If that's what he's saying it would be cheaper to use the body kit you have now and have him paint it and fit it... If that's the look your going for? I just dont understand what your saying.

800 to sand prime and paint is a tad much. i got a shop that will do that and an install for 600. comes clean too

but i dont have/ want a body kit

I don't think that's terrible. To get my hood, eyelids, bumper, passenger mirror, and fuel door done for 700 because the hood required alot of fine tuning. I say go for it

Not too bad but not great deal either. If he does good work then that would be well worth it though.

Geez where you guys from the cheapest I found for just a stock paint job here was 1500 and that don't include a bodykit I say go for it

That's definitely a good deal, it is a lot of work to make fiberglass body kits fit properly. Just painting a front or rear bumper should be about $300-$400, so $800 is a good deal for everything

FWIW, i was quoted $900 CAD for JUST removing / painting / re-installing the front bumper, so $800 for the whole kit aint that bad...

sweet ok I was just wondering because I got my body kit today and Im setting up an appointment today. he does a really good job he painted alot of my friends cars and hooked them up and they look fresh as hell. ima b rockin my kit like a mofo tomorow

. Im also trying to get an OEM style spoiler cheap any hookups?

Look them up on eBay - the seller is sawtooth - I think the buy it now is like 250 or 260 painted but he has accepted offers as low as 200.
