Injectors that should fit the GS

Here is a list of similar style injectors that I could find that in theory should be Plug'n'Play.. However, I can not confirm whether or not they will be Plug'n'Play as they haven't all been tested.
Also it is strongly recommended to retune your car using a Air/Fuel Ratio Wideband 02 Sensor and an AEM FIC + BrianJ Harness or a Hackish reflash. (Special Note for Ralliart people, there is no BrianJ Harness out for the AEM FIC, but the reflash from Hackish is available)

Complete Theoretic Fit list:
Year Make/Model Engine Size/Color Part #

400cc +

02-05 Subaru WRX 440cc (425cc) - Lt. Blue Body (2004 was greenish) #3920 (Often referred to as OEM USDM WRX 440cc Injectors or Light Blues)
2001+ JDM Subaru STI, STI-RA, S202 Impreza 565cc (540cc) - Thin Pink Body #3910 (Often referred to as JDM STI Pinks)
06-09 Subaru WRX 560cc top feed injectors
89-92 Mazda RX-7 NA 440cc - Blue Top #195500-5740
89-92 Mazda RX-7 NA 460cc - Red Top #195500-2010
89-92 Mazda RX-7 TURBO 550cc - Purple Top #195500-2020
04-08 Mazda RX8 425cc - Yellow Body #195500-4450
89-92 Toyota Supra 7MGE TURBO 430cc – Black Top

400cc -

89-92 Toyota Supra 7MGE NA 305cc (312cc) – Light Green Top #23250-70080
93-95 Toyota Supra 3.0L 312cc - Maroon Top #23250-46030
Toyota 3SGE 315cc – Pink Top
89-91 B2600 Truck 326cc - Gray Top #195500-2150
Mazda 323 GTX TURBO 360cc - Black Top #195500-2130
Celica/MR2 3SGE NA 370cc (372cc) - Green Top #23250-74160

The numbers in brackets are the actual flow tested numbers according to: http://www.injectorrx.com/densotf.html

Fully Confirmed List:
The 02-05 USDM OEM Subaru WRX 440cc Injectors
The JDM Subaru STI Pink 565cc Injectors

Confirmed but not 100% Plug'n'Play:
89-92 RX-7 Injectors

WRX Injectors Buyers Guide:

Step One: Figure out your goals.

Are you going to run 5-9psi boost on stock internals? Then get the 02-05 USDM OEM Subaru WRX 440cc Injectors as they can withhold up to around 12psi

Are you going to upgrade internals and go high boost? Then get the JDM Subaru STI Pink 565cc Injectors as they can withhold up to around 350hp

Plan on going above 350hp? Then get some modified WRX Injectors. But make sure that they have been flow tested!

Still unsure? Then go to http://www.injectorrx.com/sizing.html and fill out your hp goals, number of injectors (4), B.S.F.C. (.49ish?), duty cycle (80%) etc. and it will calculate the right injector size for your specific turbo application.

Step Two: Once you know your goals, make sure you are getting the correct ones

As a rule of thumb, they have to be top feed high impedance injectors.

The OEM WRX Injectors from North American Models (USDM) are top feed and therefore work.

The OEM WRX STI Injectors from North American Models (USDM) are side feed and therefore do not work.

The OEM WRX STI Injectors from Japanese Models (JDM) are top feed and therefore work. The way to tell whether they are Japanese is they should be listed as JDM (Japanese Domestic Market)... and in the WRX STI's case they will be pink color and slim body..

Also be careful when buying WRX Injectors as many have been modified from a moderate cc amount to a very large cc amount, so look for words such as stock or oem. Also make sure that they mention the cc amount!

Step Three: Look at the correct places

The best place and first place you should look is:
NASIOC

They would usually be listed under The Private 'For Sale' Classifieds>Engine/Power/Exhaust

If that does not work.. then try ebay.

EVO Injectors Buyers Guide:

In terms of going the Evo route you have two possibilities.

The first one would be to get the full AMS evo8/evo9 fuel rail, but in this case you will need to replace the stock fuel pump to add return lines. Note: EVO Injectors are not High Impedance so they will require resistors.

The second one would be to use EVO 8/9 injectors with our rail, but in this case you have to change the plug connectors out and add resistors.

The EVO route is doable, but by no means a plug'n'play solution, so therefore I recommend going with the WRX route which is full P'n'P. Also if you want to upgrade your fuel rail RPW makes a 4g69 fuel rail which can be found here: http://www.rpw.com.au/shop/index.php...mart&Itemid=31

Hope this thread can help you guys, and if you know of any injectors that are plug'n'play which haven't been mentioned here, please let me know.

I found a list on a mazda forum where they were talking about how the WRX ones fit their cars and how the RX-7 ones fit.. and I know 1SLO4G confirmed that the WRX injectors fit, and MikeW confirmed somewhere that the RX-7 ones fit. So I figured that the rest probably would fit aswell. Ohh and I am using http://forums.evolutionm.net/ as an additional reference to add to the list as the ralliart has the same engine as us.

Also the best place to buy WRX Injectors of any kind is nasioc.com, not ebay

RX-7 needed some modification

Also anything not high impedance for us will require modification if your using a list from evo remember they are not high impedance

Thanks for the info, and no I am not using a list from the Evo. I only use the Evo forums for ralliart info as they have the same engine as us.

EVO 8/9 injectors also fit our rail, but you have to change the plug connectors out and add resistors.

no problem... Just a question about the evo fuel injector theory.

It says you can use the evo 8/9 injectors if you use the AMS fuel rail. does that mean that any evo 8 injector can fit and is plug n play, as long as you have the ams fuel rail?

I can get a set of 750 RC engineering evo 8 injectors. Or i can get the 565 STI top fed injectors (USDM but top fed. still fit right?). not sure which would be easier setup to use. what do you think?

Update/Edit: Regarding the fuel rail, they will require resistor packs (info received by HondaHunter78)

Regarding EVO vs WRX route, I strongly suggest WRX route as it basically is 100% Plug'n'Play.. The EVO route is much more work..

I assume you are talking about the Deatschwerks Cobb Spec 565CC Injectors when you say 565 top feed injectors? If that is the case, then yes they should fit as they do fit the 02-07 WRX. Although no one has tested those specific ones on the Eclipse.

With these injectors there have been some slight coil parameter and flow parameter changes to optimize this injector specifically to the Cobb Accessport map for tuned Subaru's. So I do not know how those changes will affect tunability on the Eclipse/Ralliart.

I would rather suggest the STI Pinks or even the Deatschwerks 560CC as those are closer to OEM style.

Easiest and less work is the Subaru injectors, the Scobbies are Pn'P. EVO's are low impedance so no they are not plug and play they require resistor packs.

If your looking to upgrade the Fuel Rail RPW makes a 4g69 fuel rail

Of course I did I am adding any info regarding fuel injectors/fuel rails that I can acquire for this to one day become a sticky. I am tired of everyone saying use the search feature.. when all the information is scattered across 3 eclipse websites and 1 ralliart website and hidden in long threads. So as I go trough the turbo charging process, my goal is to do several write ups to make the process easier for people in the future. So please continue sharing your knowledge and discoveries regarding this topic so we can turn this into a sticky worthy thread

oh, so the Deatschwerks ones do work huh? I think what i'm going to do is the get 550-565 one and try to push about 20-21psi or more, and get 350whp out of the car. Later on when i Upgrade the turbo to a gt35r, I'll bore them out to about 750-800cc see how that works.

But to be honest, when i heard "JDM" Parts, i was like damnit this is going to be hard as hell to find. I checked out that NASIOC website a week or 2 ago, and DAMN they are all over the place. Should be real easy to find

thanks so much for the help...

MOD THIS THREAD SHOULD BE A STICKY.

Yes they fit.. although the Deatschwerks 560cc are closer to OEM than the Deatschwerks Cobb Spec 565CC Injectors.. so therefore if you choose to go Deatschwerks I recommeng getting the 560's.

The 565's have some slight coil parameter and flow parameter changes to optimize these injectors specifically to the Cobb Accessport map for tuned Subaru's. So I do not know how those changes will affect tunability on the Eclipse/Lancer Ralliart. But as for fitment.. it should be the same.

Although I would recommend going for something like these:
Subaru Impreza WRX STI pink fuel injectors 565cc:eBay Motors (item 300344507303 end time Sep-06-09 06:09:19 PDT)

As they already have been fully confirmed on our platform.
