schrader valve...
Hey i've been on the other club4g forum and decided to check out this one to see if i get more response than over there. The guys running wet shots on your cars, how did you tap into the fuel line seeing as we have no schrader valve? The guy wanting to hook mine up for me said that he would weld one on but idk how reliable that is and would like to know what other people who are already running it on their cars are doing? It's a zex wet kit-75 shot. Thanks

You can tap the fuel rail or the easiest thing to do is just put a Tee in the fuel line before it reaches the rail. Just make you put some clamps on the tee so the hose's don't pop off.

fuel Ts scary me. Fires on a transverse engine start fast.

I'd pull the fuel rail and have a schraeder valve welded into the end of the rail myself. I'm not taking any chances on fuel spraying down my hot headers to the tune of 45+psi of fuel pressure.

Honestly 45psi is not very much pressure compared to most other cars. My lancer has got a Tee in it and its running 65psi. Its the same as if you had installed an aftermarket fuel regulator. Its been done for years with out any issues.
Throw some hose clamps on it and it'll hold fine, plus its reversible. Not to mention that if the line pops off your car will die out instantly and any fuel that could possibly find its way to the header does catch fire it'll just flash up and go out. Fuel burns quick and dies out but OIL on the other hand is what fucks you up. Lose an oil feed line and things are done. <--Personal Experience!
