Cobb supercharger for the Eclipse GT

It looks like someone else maybe working on a supercharger kit for us GT guys. Their using a self lubed intercooled supercharger.... can anybody say that shit is going to rock.

I may change my mind about getting a supercharger..... I'm sort of wanting to boost my car now for some odd reason.

Not to burst your bubble guys. But I'm pretty sure this is a one of. Just a custom setup for Tanabe. Otherwise they would have said something by now.

I know huh Russ.... I am getting tired of there being no kits out for us... and I doubt there will ever be a turbo kit so I think a supercharger will be the way to go.... and this one is done the right way... I love it and want it in my car.

I like the looks and i love the fact that it has an intercooler but, other than some slightly different packaging, isnt this the same as RIPPs? The sds uses a Vortech (which is known to have some problems) and COBB uses Rotrex (i'm not sure about cause i've never heard of them) but it seems like its the same thing. Maybe i'm just bein a noob

BTW the article said this setup is good for 400HP at the crank but RIPP is getting 430 at the wheels which brings me to the question does water meth injection and the black box tune really make that much of a difference or am i missing something here too?

It looks nothing like the Ripp kit except for the shaft. Really that number is a guess cause if you read then you know there not finished with it yet so it hasn't hit the dyno.
