Ever see D3 twin turbo GT??

I'm not sure if anyone seem this car before but its all over autocityimports and when i searched it can right up. Its Titan Twin Turbo Kit but its not a production kit...as we all know cause there is none...But it just shows a FI 6G75 engine and that i can be done...

that car has been out since the 4g was first released. never seen a dyno, or even seen the car move under its own power for that matter. pretty much a show queen. yeah, a twin turbo can be done, but so can anything else with the right amount of money

Nowhere is that article does it say the car runs or has ever run. The most important thing for a article like that is the power output of the engine. Nothing, no dyno, no guess, nothing. Points to D3 for trying but without more I have to assume that is a trailer bitch and has never seen a real burn.

yeah i saw that but if you go down further on the search page there's a D3 3G on a race track passing a bunch of high end cars... maybe there is a different D3 then that Cadillac one...my car domain page does state that my car runs but it does...even if it didn't it just goes to show that there is enough room to work with...that is the major problem with the 4G GT when it comes to turbocharging. Im sure that car doesn't run because that front manifold and wastegate has to be touching that radiator and if not im sure it hit when it runs even with motor mounts because its that close.

you have never turbocharged a v6 before have you?

have you ever seen a 3kgtVR4's motor/bay? space is an issue in that car, not ours....

think this way, on a big motor with 2 sides/banks you need equal length piping from the exhaust ports to the turbo.

choice A. twin turbos

choice B. imagine this, relocate the battery to the trunk, now look at how huge of an empty space is sitting right in front of your face....

I dont get why these shops, D3 and COBB make these kits, show them off and never produce anything...The demand for the new eclipse part is pretty high and you can see that when you go on autocityimports cause there is a shit load of parts for our cars. There are twice as many body kits then there was a year or two ago. RIPP is so popular because its the only shop that put a kit out for our car...if D3 and COBB put their kit out i bet RIPPS sales would drop drastically....eclipse dropped off the tuner map when the evo started getting popular but its coming back...there are a few moded 4G eclipses in my small town...Its a sexy powerful car...i dont see why it hasn't been getting the respect from the tuner world as it should...we need to show the world these cars can compete. Has a RIPP supercharger races a moded evo? Because i bet we would win. We need to get a 4G on the cover of a import magazine like sport compact, turbo, or import tuner and put these cars back in the ring with the evos, stis, rx7 and all the elite. Even a GS @10psi i believe could take a stock evo...why aren't we showing people this...stop putting money into bullshit body work and push these cars...everyone saying I want a turbo but i dont have the money....but you had the money for all that carbon fiber, and body kit, spoiler, tint, and rims...Good looking cars get looks....fast well built cars get respect.

yeah i have and that's why i have my other post from IPS Motorsports...if they can build a VR4 single turbo then they can build one for us.

Yeah the crappy cheap to make parts are there. Anything that requires more then a weekend of R&D is few and far between. Don't kid yourself, demand for 4G Eclipse parts is practically zero. You get a false sense of it by being on this site.

Yeah I know...all talk no built...I can't tell with all these turbo kits for sale and no one buying...the biggest threads on these sites are turbos...there are 5 of us and 3 were for sale, mine dclipse and matt, then you got ronron and meckone. Then a few bolt on super kit people and a couple hundred talkers but no doers.

some of us who are willing have lives, with kids, and bills. not extra money just flying around.

i agree, there are alot of talkers, but ive invested tons of my time and money to help develop to where we are at now. More time than money, but still plenty of both.
