How can you up PSI on RIPP Supercharger?
Is there anyway to up the boost on a RIPP Stage 2 kit or is it stuck at 8psi forever? Smaller pulley or what? The stage 2 added 100hp but adding a methanol cooler and a under pulley...what else can be done to pump more air in? on a turbo you can change the waste gate spring of boost controller...what can be done in a supercharger if anything? Are they that limiting??

the only thing that is introduced from the stage 1 s/c to the stage 2 s/c is a smaller pully and the belt to go with it.other than that its pretty much what it is.

They also added two fuel injectors and the OBD II translator. This is taken from the ripp site: "The small shaft pulley alone will deliver 9-11psi on SDS system, when combined with the stock crank pulley. When this pulley is combined with the RIPP Billet Crank pulley this can produce up to 22psi."

There could be a smaller pully than stage 2, thing is you would then have upgrade internals.I have stage 1 and the pully is big stage 2 is just a bit smaller. So i know it could even go smaller for more than 8 psi.

the extra injectors come with the stage one and tuners package. That best is also included in stage one. The only difference is that undershaft pulley and the methonal injector system. So is stage 2 at 11psi with that underpully? And that crank pulley isn't out for out car. And to jump to 22psi would need 1000's in internal work...is there a way to control the boost with a supercharger.

Those would be questions for ripp. I'm only looking to go Stage 2 on my GS, but ripp won't answer me if they will set one up for me or not. So far, that's 2 places that haven't answered me if they will build me a turbo and one who won't answer about the supercharger. Soon to have the funds, but can't find anyone to build me a reliable kit. Kinda pisses me off. Only if RRE was closer to me....

Well there obviously no wastegate on a supercharger but I was wondering if you can control the boost like it does or is it just pullies? I have the turbo kit still fir the GS...

Any shop can build you a kit...I didn't mine all in my own buy the down pipe and the shop just cleaned it up and made it more reliable. If you're in the Cali area I'm sure there's many shops that can do it. The only thing you really need is the manifold then rest is easy but the tuning. Buy again I still have my kit for the gs. There's a guy saying he'll have the money late oct but I don't know if he will.

If I was in Cali I would be going to RRE. I'm stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY and was gonna give it to IPS, but they never got back with me. Only reason I would go SDS is to avoid the tuning headache with a turbo. SDS is set for plug and play more or less. And a stage 2 is all the more I would probably go. Only if Ripp gets back with me though.

that's going to take internal work which you're going to have to put the money. My kit and rre's wesco pistons for $540 can put you near 15 psi and well over 325. Rods cams springs retains port and polish well over 400.
