I remember someone, maybe twilson, was asking about putting a rotorex charger on the 75, but I don't know how far the thread went.

Yes it would be nice to try. After I get my heads done I may step up to the plate. But I would run it through a FMI like COBB did with theirs.

This may be a decent breakthrough. Imagine that, another option right under our nose the whole time? All we'd need is some of those RC injectors RRE used, a resistor pack, the FIC, and an intercooler.

There isn't room for it where they have it mounted. I've seen mustangs with vortex and fmic that's what I want to go for. I was going to try that rortex buy it's like 2500 just for the charger and nothing else and I was able to get a ripp stage 2 for $1000

2,500 for the whole kit looks like it should work I think you guys would have to relocate the Battery but that shouldn't be a huge hurdle

I bet RPW would have no issue working out a refund deal if you talk to them.

A few things are different, but we have more room than the 3g engine bay does.

Why relocate the battery? I can't picture the kit but I don't have to move it. There is no room with the ac hose there, the altinator and all the crap there. And if it did I'd def run in down into a front mount. That would be a sick kit. It would prob take a while to play with smaller pulley and belts and shit to make it work.

I got everything except the brat and black box off someone parting out. Shit cleaned up amazing and looks brand new. I already have the fic and I boight there headers off someone else for 600. Shitty economy paid off. Going to drop the supplimental fuel system and throw in larger primarys. Want it all done before hot import nights on June 6.

Because if you look at the kit in the pic the Battery is in the front of the engine Bay and the big silver Box of the S/C is sitting right where the eclipse battery sits.

You don't have to use the aftercooler (big silver box) I would opt to run piping like COBB did and go with a FMIC.

Also you could prob relocate the AC lines if you really wanted to... or if you are hard core just take the AC out. It will save on weight too.

There are 2 reasons the AC should still be in your car.

1: You're married.

2: You're a pussy.

I fall under #1. I can do without, even prefer having the windows open. My wife can't stand it though. Her hair get's blown around or it just doesn't cool her enough. Oh well. Can't have cake and eat it too.

Is that Rotrex unit running a standalone oil supply? It says the black cylindrical deal with fins is an oil cooler, but at the same time its standing on end like a reservoir. Hmmm.

Whatever you want to make it. Just requires a difftent size pulley and just set it to the 6-9 psi all the other kits are at. I don't get is that pullies don't work well with the gt. The reason we dont have a under drive Pully is because our ecu hates us. I wonder how ripp and rpw get around that. I wonder if thata something in the black box or brat. Mike had an underulley for us but the ecu kept turning it down. I don't think you can point the outlet down to go to an intercooler with the alt there. Need a pretty sharp turn and prob a hole in the firewall.

Jeep sell that eaton and try out the rortex.

This is key too guys.

"Our recomended fitting option is to utilise a PWR Bullet style water to air intercooler between the Superchager and the throttle body for maximun efficiency. Photos showing are from a customers vehicles showing one of many ways this kit can be fitted to the vehicle."

It's pretty much a DIY kit. They sell you the essential parts needed and you finish it up. I think an email to RPW is in order.

I have a hunch that there was some kind of vibration going on with the aftermarket pulleys for the GT, that was erroneously tripping a knock sensor or something. Doesn't really make sense that the ECU sees a pulley, I can't see how that would have been possible. Interesting.

And my only concern here is the alternator. Where the hell are we guna put it?

I just sent RPW and email asking if this has actually been tested on a 6G75 as well as fitment of other components in the engine bay.

The reason the underdrive pulley didn't work is because it changed the harmonics of the engine and the ECU thought it was knocking and it retarded timing.

you wouldn't have anything to worry about with the Ripp kit or this.

I would but I'm going a different route right now. NA anybody? But next year I might be up for this.

RPW,

Has this kit actually been tested on a 6G75 engine? There is GREAT interest in this on Club4G Eclipse, and I figured I would go straight to the source. There have been various questions about the fitment, everything from the placement of the cool air box to the feasability of a FMIC. Also, how is the fitment with the alternator? I'm sure the guys would love to see you on the website so we can ask you questions directly. Thank you for all and any assistance you can provide.

And you better let them know it is for a 4g 6g75 with MIVEC. They're plenty of 6g75 non MIVEC now.

Also, this has already been hit. Russ said that they would love to send a kit and someone here fit it and send back what needs to be changed for it to be a bolt on kit... there was no takers.
