OEM SE Rear Spoiler Installed

Love it.

Update:I got it at my local mitsubishi dealership in san bernardino, CA for $265, with CA tax is came to $284. The spoiler came factory painted. (for some reason, the black one is alot cheaper than any other factory color. the yellow one is the most expensive, i think its around $360). it came nicely packaged with installation guide. I did the installation myself.

FYI: The SE wing is made for 2008-2012 eclipse, so the template the kit provide to drill the holes is not for the 2006-2007, so I had to make some adjustments to my drilling because the trunk lid is different underneath for 2006-07. it was a pain in the ass.

Want to put LEDs on the underside of mine so there's a brake light and running lights on the spoiler .
Already did LEDs on the body line for the turn signals...(along the inside of the hatch)

Drove off the lot without a spoiler and 2 days passed and I realized something huge was missing. Dealership installed it for me the next week. Guess you can say that was my first mod Good choice man!

Honestly can't remember...this was a little over 7 years ago...thinking around $800 shipped/painted/installed would've been fair

THANKS
I'd do it but just don't trust myself to much on drilling into the exterior..I'm good but just to play it safe and if does mess up it's on their hands no mine..
even had the thought of fog coming from the fin while it's lit up...

So install was pretty simple then?
And template was provide..hmmmm
Seen ones go for about $300-400
Did you have to replace your (forget what there called) shocks on the hatch that hold it open to a heavier duty...dealer told me need to replace them cause of the weight of the fin..plus my hatch already has ton of deadening in it and have to open it by hand doesn't pop open like it use it..

they told me the same thing that i need to replace the gas springs for the extra weight. however i didn't have to. the trunk is still able to hold up, no problem. if you have a 2008 and up eclipse, it should be an easy install. if you have 2006-07, you need to do some adjustments but its not complicated. I installed it on my 07 and the result is nice as you can see.

They replaced my trunk struts and it still comes up really quick and stays up even in the winter. I'm not sure how much they are but if they aren't that expensive, I'd highly recommend upgrading them at the same time.
