i just got my aero kit and having trouble installing some pieces. i have no clue what the rubber pipe is for in the kit. the installation guide is not very helpful. how do i put it on?
It looks like a radiator reroute tube. The new bumper with that kit might interfere with the OEM radiator hose, so they gave you a new one that has the correct bends in it. That or a fuel filler reroute, but that would only be needed if there were serious rear bumper modification. It can be seen in picture 4 at the top of the paper(left side). Hope that helps.
Edit: If it is rubber/silicone like an intake or radiator pipe, its not for fuel as gasoline eats rubber. If it were a filler tube it would be metal or a hard composite/plastic. The only other thing I can think of it being is a rain gutter collection tube (rain runs down trunk rails into rear bumper and it drains out through the tube) I don't remember seeing this last time I was under the back of my car though, but I wasn't looking for it either.
it was $400 shipped from parts.com and its the painted steel blue
the painted steel blue seem to be the cheapest for some reason. The unpainted primer kit cost $850. My car is black so i bought the steel blue and got it painted for $400. The dealership price is $950 for the primer unpainted kit.
So some mother fucker hit my car when it was snow the other day and the center of my wake modifier under the LP has a little gap now the is no bolt or brackets there so I'm guessing it either 3 m double side or adhesive glue any input
