The Official Engine Bay Thread

Is your engine pretty modded, dressed up, or really clean? Post up pictures of what you're packing under your hood... maybe it will inspire others. If this is a repost then link me to the original thread and i will merge them. Thanks Smitty for the idea. Guess I should go first eh? Sorry, its really sunny where I live

Nice work! How much torque did you use to tighten the bolts on the cam cover?

1 year and zero surface rust still look brand new. they keep their shine very well and dont crap out. the blue is anodized so it is blue all the way through the metal (not just a painted surface). the braiding is tight so there r not strands sticking out anywhere. i think they look really good. only thing that sux is u gotta drain like half your coolant to get those hoses off without making a mess

Just getting started. I'll have a K&N Typhoon SRI in here soon. I've been cleaning a little bit at a time. After 67,000 miles, my nuts and bolts have all turned gray and galvanized-looking. I took off all the ones I could get to and cleaned them up with a bench grinder. They look brand new and it makes a HUGE difference!

My oil catch can is intercepting the breather tubes from the valve cover, the front valve cover has a breather filter. The breather filter is in place of the tube that would normally run into the throttle body. And thanks for the props man!
