Led Light Bar installed!

Here you go guys. I finally took the plunge into seriously functional mods, and this is probably the best one yet. It is a 180w, 32", Cree LED spot/flood combo light bar. It's rated at 15,000 lumens, and it will blind the shit out of you. It's just ridiculous. But it was a very necessary mod since I am in the mountains of East Tennessee, and I do a ton of spirited backroad and Dragon runs at night.

I actually got it off eBay, but it's not just a random one. I did a bit of research before I bought it. And here is a night shot. Even with my dslr it can't pick up just how much the thing lights everything up lol.

Yup. It's WAY brighter in person. I tested it out on the Tail of the Dragon last Saturday and it performed flawlessly. I'm happy with it! Now to add another one

Sorry for bringing this back from the dead, but would a 34" bar fit?

Probably but you would need to cut the bumper some. The 32" is a relatively tight fit.

So 32 is about as big as it gets without chopping shit up. This is a cool mod. I'm curious, what kind of switch are you using? An actual light relay switch? Or just a plain rocker switch?

I'm using a rocker switch that activates a relay for the bar. It's a harness made for the bar.

What route did you take to get the wiring into the cab? Or did you just drill one? Sorry for the questions, but I'm gonna do this soon, and it looks like you did a clean install.

No problem man! I drilled a hole in the firewall since I am going to be adding a few other things that will need to run into the cabin.

One more quick one? Did you just completely remove your lower grille insert?

I've been thinking of getting a light bar for a while, but couldn't decide on the best way to mount it. What did you do to mount yours?

happy to see someone else try it out

I also just ordered a 420 watt 32" led bar off ebay...I may mount mine a little deeper, but my car is completely blacked out including a light film on the windshield. I live in the country and NEED THIS. I've hit a deer before and this is going to be bad ass.
