As if all the pay cuts and commission changes wasnt enough, AT&T decided to cut jobs in my market.

Im trying my hardest to look at the bright side here but its very difficult... though its hard to admit to myself, i probably would never go back to school while working for AT&T. That being said, im planning on taking advantage of this "opportunity", and will start working towards law school. this will require a huge change in my lifestyle and i plan on cutting just about all frivolous cost, with the exception of the 4g. i guess im going to go find a labor job or something to make ends meet while i look for a good part time job that will work around my hectic schedule of furthering my education. MAN THIS SUCKS

luckily all my bills are paid through next month...so ill spend the next few days sending out my resume and flipping through the "rolodex" for some connections.... after a lil break from reality, i need some alone time with the 4g to take my mind off this shit.

good luck bro.. if you need flexible schedule try the hotel and food service.. short/ late hours pays good enough but its kinnda though..

I feel you Matt, I have been thru the samething 2 years ago. Although it wasn't that bad to take unemployment just don't spend them all!

well im not 100% sure how unemployment works, ive never been in this situation, but i doubt unemployment will cover my living expenses....id be surprised if it paid my bills. but damn change is good....this stress isnt as bad as what i had to put up with at work. yet.

va unemployment is fail. you file, then they take atleast a month to determine your eligibility. i was ineligible because i was terminated. you have to prove each week that you are looking for work, its a continuing process.

yeah unfortunately looks like texas is fuckin gay, you gota jump through hoops to get a bartender license. i havent seen anything saying you have to BY LAW, but it looks like the big name places wont hire you without one. i gota find one of those gangster club or something in the hood lol

been thinking about going on active reserve, maybe work with the recruiters here or something. but then i can kiss unemployment goodbye

honestly im looking at the bright side (trying to), i mean shit with the stress of work off my shoulders ive gotten so much stuff done. rebuilt a closet in the bedroom, cleaned the garage (now i can actually work on the car INSIDE the garage), working on the cars, hittin the gym, and honestly im good for around two months on a tight budget. BUT i have a feeling im going to get a lot the "your over qualified" bullshit for the type of job im willing to take while finishing school. o well fuck it, im young no kids, not married, house paid for...im a lucky mother fucker to have this happen now instead of later.
