So let's perpetuate the tradition over here...

The Members' Picture Thread (insofar as C3G is concerned, that is) has always been one way for folks in the boards to get to know fellow posters better. It has been one of the longest living posts, and it remains one of the oldest living threads in the history of those Forums. I was thinking we needed a thread like that over here. Might as well start one

First, some rules:

This is the Lounge and not OT, so let's keep this straightforward and clean, and leave comments like "damn you're hot", and replies in general to a minimum, so as to keep the thread properly trimmed.
This is not an avenue for HDL/WDL acts of freakishness There's OT for that.
This is not a "post pics of your car" thread. It's for everyone to put faces to the growing list of names in C4G Post pics of you by your car if you wish.

So... show us yer mugs! ... or pose, or whatever!

Hey all, I just want to share this with you and introduce the wonderful woman that I am with in this picture (taken June 2006). This is my nana, she is the most loving and honest person anyone will ever meet. She is loved by so many and she is an angel. She's the most influential person in my life and I admire her for all that she stands for. This is my nana, my life, and my shining star

This picture was taken and sent to the actress Betty White, in May of 07. We wrote Betty White a letter asking for the two of us to meet her. Nana and I would watch the Golden Girls all the time, and throughout the time of recovery with my major surgery last year, nana was there for me each step of the way. We would lay in bed together watching the Golden Girls, just like when I was a little girl

She's the most influential person in my life and I admire her for all that she stands for.
