oo kool. i have never been there. i always went to all tattoos in mentor till my artist there left and went to VA beach to tattoo. now i go to zebra which is 2 sec from where i live.

laser will leave a scare where the tattoo was, i heard even thought the ink goes away it still sux cuz you got a horrible scare there

well there is a new ink out... SSA licensed tattoo artists have to use this ink.. an actually to my knowledge last year or so they completely stop using the old ink... and that is one of the main reasons y the colors have become so vibrant...

hey Kev... if u could walk into a dermatology clinic and sit down for a 1-2hr session (they say however long it took is normally how long it takes to remove) and u leave the place with a tanned area where the tattoo was??? would u think differently about ur tattoo (this is if u had new ink... )

some very badass tattoos in here, so not to ruin the thread but i guess ill post a pic of my stupid tat i got when I was 16..

i hate it now, ive been meaning to get it covered or removed but just never get around to it. I get some of the dirtiest looks when people see it, yet i have no idea what i would cover it with.

plus after 13 years it doesnt look nearly as bright/detailed as it did in the beginning.

i have a dragon and cross with my dads initials...on my shoulder blades. considering adding some tribal to connect them to the fluer de lis on my arm. maybe a moto USMC tat on my other arm but haven't started drawing yet. ill post some pics of my back when i can and my other leg isnt finished yet, a lot of zodiac stuff.

yo hacman: who'd you find that does the UV ink? any any itching or fading? ive been looking for someone that can do it so i can put it on my already existing ink. im all grey scale, but would like to add UV color. know anyone around dallas that does it?

when it was first developed there were some issues with allergic reactions...nothing serious like your limb falling off or lethal more like an itch. some reported it only lasting a few days some a few weeks. i think there was one issue guy said it itched for like 3 months. since then it has been perfected and these side effects have...faded (no pun intended).

there are a few reasons why it is hard to find, mainly it is very hard to work with. from my understanding, it goes on invisible but i dont know why they wouldnt set up a black-light and work under it. maybe the ink takes time to activate or something i dunno. so for the most part, you usually only see it as solid lines or solid coloring, not really used for shading etc.

ive gathered from other research the ink is a lot different, thinner or thicker than regular inks hence requiring different needles possibly a different gun for correct control. so a lot of artist, again, or afraid to use it. if i can find a shop that does reputable work and has experience with the ink ill do it. ive been looking for awhile, DC Virginia New Orleans Dallas....no luck.

anyone know of someone?
