Terrible night..
Was cruising with my fellow 4g bud&on a main road i didn't notice a giant pothole and i drove right into it, I popped both of passenger side tires, front&rear..this was 3 hours after my alignment, rotation, camber bolt being added&a new exhaust was welded on. Now i'm on one spare&one flat tire..shit sucks..&i can't afford to fix it atm, friday my check goes for my car payment..whooo, fml.
&Keep in mind, i was only going like 30mph..i thought my car was ripped apart how bad that pothole was, people keep telling me to sue the city&blah blah..I'm not the type of person to sue over something like that..i needed new tires anyways lol, just not the way i wanted to go out -_-...

You blew both... and you have a picture of the spare on the rear... what's on the front??
I agree, I think as a nation we've gone a little sue happy, and far too easily too, but if it's that bad and unmarked why not go after them simply for the cost of the repairs and the new tires? Don't get all crazy trying to have them pay for a vacation in the bahamas and a new extension on your house, but hell if you can at least get new rubber wrapped around those rims with no out of pocket, I say go for it. |

I hit a huge pothole in my Sebring and bent my wheel and busted my tire. I contacted the county and filed a claim. Also a police report would help too. They will pay cause yet are responsible for maintaining the roads. I never had to sue I just filed a claim with the county.

I would go back to the city and report the pot hole. If someone already reported it and it was neglected by the city then you could prob make them pay for repairs.

Yeah I would definitely try to get your town/borough to pay for repairs. Isn't that why you pay taxes? Its the boroughs job to repair road issues, and from what it sounds that pot hole is a road hazard and could cause an accident.

Well my issue is pretty much resolved, burned a whole in my pocket but it's alright. I'll probably go take some pictures of the pot hole&the damage to my tires later on when my new tires are all mounted and im set to drive.
Bought 4 tires, 235/45/18, ones i had one were 235/40/18, so kinda glad i can get original size tires, and needed all seasons anyways, had summer tires on before. Around 718$ for all 4..just such a long process...currently waiting for the tires to get delivered to the store, they said a hour for the tires to come in, left my 2 wheels at the store so they can get done when it comes in, and then i gotta take them home and put them on my car since my cars on jacks outside and can't drive atm lol, gotta put the old tire on the front driver on my back passenger, so i dont have the gay dummy on.&gotta put the other new tires on front&then gotta drive back down with my car to have the other 2 new tires mounted on my rear. Missing work right now, my pockets are crying LOL
