Nice choice on the fuel pump. 255 Walbro will give you plenty of fuel for that bad boy.

I think you should find a way to setup the car for E-85. It's cheaper that regular gas, burns cooler, and is equivalent to 105 Octane racing fuel. Shouldn't be hard. All you would need is metal fuel filter, Fuel Pressure Regulator (Not needed but you should have for tuning anyways) and bigger injectors (Something 880cc or higher). The only thing I am not sure of is if the FIC will be able to tune it. Someone might need to chime in on that. It would be sick, the only 4g rollin on e-85 that I know of.

sounds great except my STi 565cc injectors won't cut it...?

True but you could always upgrade them. Besides you can run more boost on E-85 over pump fuel cause it burns cooler and is less likely to detonate.

I haven't been as excited about a mod coming as I am about these rims in a while. Also, I am going to be buying another 2008 6G75 - absolutely perfect for my build. I can't freakin' wait - tho I'm going to have to. Not getting all the parts for at least another couple of months....but it will happen...

Nah no lower grill. Screw that make it look pretty crap. He needs an intercooler lol. Love the rims man they look sexy on that beast. I must say if I had seen those on the car when choose I would have pic them over the rest. The picture on their site just doesn't do them justice.

hey thanks for props guys! yeah I am pretty pleased with the rims myself. the lip doesn't stick out quite as much as I'd hoped for, but this morning when I looked at them again I was like: "damn that is f*cking sick as hell"

I may wind up with an intercooler if I can make some decent boost

oh yeah and I am removing the decals at the moment...that is kind of big deal for me.

I had them on there orginally so my whip would stand out a little more, and it wasn't just stock so I wanted to advertise that. NOW there is no need to. the car speaks for itself, I think.

So the props don't get in the way of the hood shutting? How much did they set you back?

nah the struts lie like.. its hard to explain. theres a groove under the hood that the struts fit perfectly in. and theres different pairs. i think theyre 70, 85, and 120. 70 for base (same thing essentially as elite) and 120 for elite

No man they clear beautifully. Perfect product imo. $120 for the "Elite" - which is just the nicest gas springs. You can get the lower version for like 100 or 90.

THANKS for the Props, Jeff!
Yeah you were right! It is a sweet tasteful mod that makes the whole car look more expensive.

I've also removed the decals...but not sure if there any pics of that - my wife said my car looks like a porcsh now! I don't know about that, but those 17's just looked 'off' or 'weak' or something - the new 18's just look tough as shit imo

oh Jeff to answer your question about how hard it is to put on - EASY as hell if you know how to rivet...

if not, just figure that out - which isn't too bad, once you have the hang of that, it's quite easy. I could put one on your car in 10 minutes.

I love the new wheels man, they look especially sexy on the car. Do you think those hood props would work on the rear hatch? My hatch will barely stay open by itself since the stock shocks went out.

thanks man. I love the new rims and especially my tires. they hook like a mf.

don't know about those props working for the back....if you asked RedLine I bet they'd say no don't try it, but that's really the only way you'll find out.

yeah but the trick it took me a minute to figure out is that when you have to sqeeze it more then once to get the stem to break - you have to open the handles of the gun all way, then push it back down onto the stem - all the way to the rivet tab, and squeezing again a time or two....so if you know that little secret then it's almost TOO easy.
