Interesting skewed stars. Good eye!

Looks like you're gonna have to roll that fender in too.

what the specs on your rims and tires?

in the one pic it almost looked like you are running too narrow of a tire.

pretty cool looking rims though!

Yeah you are right kx... this one makes it look like the tires are a bit narrow for the wheel. Might just be deceptive camera work though...

What are the specs though on the tires and rims?

well he's gonna have to keep that profile if he wants to keep the wheel. With a drop and possibly even after a fender roll he's still gonna smack bottom.

That, unless he's planning on any body work on the rear qtr panels.

He can get a wider wheel though, couldn't he? I dunno if it's that big of a deal, though.

Well, it's not a matter of wheel width as it is fitment with the rest of the car. You can have as wide a wheel as you want, but if dropped, a wider rear wheel will slam against the outside fender rib. As it is his wheel is wide enough to take on about 20mm (approx 1") more of tire width.

polypropylene foam pieces on the top of the shock/strut shaft that prevents the shock/strut housing from hitting the top of the shock/strut assembly. It's a bump stop that's good in the event that you hit a nasty bump or puddle.

Ok guys, before you even consider buying wheels and thinking they'll fit in your car, consider the fact that you have fenders to clear, and front wheels that turn.

Sorry, I still haven't fully gotten over my hangover so I'll make this short and direct to the gritty details.

For the following wheel widths (in inches), you need the following tire widths (in mm). lower value tire width would be the lowest I'd go.
  • 8.0" : 235-245mm
  • 8.5" :245-255mm
  • 9.0" :255-265mm
  • 9.5" : 265-275mm
  • 10.0 : 275-285mm
  • 10.5 : 285-295mm

These recommendations don't include considerations for clearance. For that, go here, get a mm/in ruler, and do your own measurements.

WElcome to the "start having problem with dealers" team. Now that you started to mes up wi the suspension I wish you good luck with Tom at Fountain. Let me know how it goes when you go for service from now on.

It look much better, good job. ANd by the way, I saw the guys comment about your tires been smaller than your rims and u mentioned it was the camera. Well in my opinion Nah! man, your back tires are smallers than the rim itself, the front ones look good. So just becareful.

He put like 10 inchers on the back with a 9 inch tire.. Just be careful with that man.. That can be very dangerous.

I like the wheels, but the rear ones look way too funky, sorry.

Well, he does have a nice car Just that with the rear tire profile being like that... can you say "curb rash"?

Prescribed tire width for a 10" would be typically 285-295mm. And that's factual.

For sure he has a nice car, just for me every time I see a picture of his ride my eyes are drawn like magnets to those rear tires lol.
