You know... one thing I noticed about those vids is how the video producers seemed to be editing the participants to make them look as clueless as possible. I guess that's the goal of the marketing campaign... to "show" just "how much more" the car is than people can expect.

I thought it was funny that you were the only one among the four who was even close to appreciating performance. And by the looks of it, they were focused on showcasing folks with very little mods if any at all. I wonder how it would have turned out if Carl or other RRE customers had showed up?

All the other participants in the video were typical demographic folks... the girl, the mommy... It's kinda skewed, I think. And it really doesn't speak much of the potential of the car. We already know it performs relatively well, stock.

Sadly, I'll have to say that's one of the reasons I've tried to stay away from all the ricey looking exterior mods with this car. Unfortunately, though the Eclipse looks FAR superior to pretty much any other car in its class and price range, when people think of the name, it's almost synonymous with "college-", "working middle class", "poor man's GT"; and the adjectives, "young", "rice", and "cheap".

Yeah... I said it. Cheap
