mitsubishi worst 10 car company????
i was at some car meet downtown st louis for the first time. i was driving in a honda si. so as soon as i got over there, i saw 3 evo's witch i met the guys later on, so the honda dudes and the mitsubishi dudes argued about mitsubishi being the top 10 worst company and that evos break fast and some sort off crap, so it ended with a mitsubishi fan boy beating up two kids and everyone left.....
![]() so am asking is mitsubishi the worst top 10 or what place are we in with the whole car selling thing |

Mitsu doesn't sell as many cars as honda's.... we are like a nice little niche with a nice community that you don't fuck with =)

ohhhhhhh.. jimbo must be on duty tonight...
honda sells more. both are dependable makes both have quite a bit of potential as tuners. and most of us here will prefer mitsu.

I will say that at least Honda people tend to stick together. This is of course my speculation but at least around here if you drive a honda or an acura your accepted by all other Hondas and Acuras. With Mitsubishi all the Evo and DSM guys look at all the 3rd and 4th gen Eclipse drivers like we are jokes cause there is no way that we will ever be as quick as they are and pretty much exclude us from everything.

mitsubshi's are reliable added power causes things to break quicker. look at higher end brands like ferrari, lamborghini, land rover. while you think u will get a very reliable car for the amount of money u pay. those cras break quickly. in land rovers case they have been ranked as the most unreliable car maker for years. honestly honda makes a good reliable car. but the civics main buyer by age group is like 40+. and everyone has a damn civic. i havent had issues with my car, yet, but i would still rather have my car over a civic any day.

Hondas are reliable cars but look at the build quality. Every Honda car I've ever seen besides higher end models have cheap interior construction. Every one of them is comparable to a mid 90s dodge neon.
I had a 99 eclipse and the interior rattled and it was cheap. The car never gave me any problems. My parents had a 2000 Montero Sport. No problems. They now have an 04 Galant and it has been a good car. I have seen the interior build quality of Mitsus go up over the past 10 years and I think Mitsubishi makes good cars. What Mitsubishi sucks at is marketing. They really aren't doing a good job at giving the public what they want. I'd love to see a turbo or V6 eclipse with AWD. That would sell a lot better than the current FWD platform. They need to adjust their lineup and market their products better. They are a horrible company in terms of sales but when speaking of quality, I think Mitsubishi makes good cars. Toyota and Honda are the only Japanese brands that get any respect. I personally think their cars are overpriced and overrated.

ive always heard that mitsu was a bad car. oh well. i love my mitsu. and in truth, if you stay on your cars shit, like making sure all the kinks are maintaned on a regular basis, the car will last forever. I plan on keepin my eclipse forever straight up

actually according to some surveys mitsubishi is one the most reliable brands. the issue is its not perceived that way. last year according to consumer reports mitsu was the 6th most reliable brand. land rover is one of the worst brands

From an overall consumer standpoint toyota and honda are top of the pack and mitsu is pretty far down the list, below hyundai at this point even, but i've owned three eclipses so far and I've enjoyed all of them, even when they started leaking oil.

I never really understood the neon thing. You can certainly build them up to run 10's but it take quite a bit of money. Sure you can get one in the 12's without breaking the bank but beyond that it gets really pricey. And they're butt ugly. dunno just my 2 cents.
